SG29 (C8) UNPLATED, SL tied by R.W. in oval and by YORK sideways duplex of 20 May 1856 to an envelope to TADCASTER. There is an additional strike of the R.W. mark at the left of the front of the envelope. Very rare use of this mark to cancel a stamp it is an Inspector'smark issued in 1854 and used at YORK STATION between 1855 and 1858 but not intended to cance the stamp.
